One of L’Occitane’s core fragrance collections is La Collection de Grasse. La Collection de Grasse fragrances comprise a growing collection of fragrances for men, women and unisex, made with natural extracts, many from Grasse, France. The best-selling product of the collection is Orange Blossom Orchid Eau de Toilette.
Orange Blossom Orchid Eau de Toilette comes in a simple rectangular glass bottle. The cap has a matte gold finish and the lip is surrounded by a shimmering gold thread. I really like the fragrance packaging of L’Occitane. Top and outrageous bottles are great, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it’s the simple bottles that feel the most elegant and luxurious.
Orange Blossom and Orchid contain intense fruity aromas of orange, mandarin and neroli essential oils, while heart notes include orange blossom, peach and fig milk… The peaches definitely add a touch of sweetness to the scent without making it sweet greasy. Then there’s fig milk, which I’ve never seen in a fragrance before and I’m not sure if I can actually detect it. Finally, as base notes, it contains white orchid, musk and iris. Just beautiful, oh so feminine and sophisticated.
The fragrance is an Eau de Toilette, but even so, it lasts the whole day because I can still smell it at night even if I use it in the morning.
You won’t want to miss this one.
