The moisturiser comes in a pretty jar and looks gorgeous, like the perfect addition to your vanity. I don’t know if it happens to everyone, but I always have a hard time finding the right moisturizer.
I have combination/oily skin and most moisturizers, even those made for oily skin, leave my face looking radiant after a few hours. The L’Occitane Peony Repair Cream works really well, with no shine on the forehead by the end of the day. Smells nice but not overpowering.
In moisturizers, fragrance is always important to me. I love moisturisers with a subtle floral scent, which is exactly what Peony Perfecting Cream smells like.
In terms of consistency, it is neither too thick/creamy nor thin. It gets absorbed into the skin easily and doesn’t make you look greasy. Skin feels soft and smooth after every use.
A few months after I started using this cream, my uneven skin tone slowly disappeared and my skin looked healthier. I’m not someone who usually advertises or makes claims for specific products, but with this one, I’ve seen results. This is my current favorite.
